Alejandro Martinez from Miami brings us this stunning '03 Nissan 350z. If you had the opportunity to see this car in person, your head would definitely be turning. Martinez's Z has come a long way ever since he bought it 4 years ago. Still an ongoing build, he is constantly making tweaks to get it as close to perfect as possible.
Being more into the fast life, Alejandro started hearing about the hellaflush scene. That's when He decided that the aggressive look and character it gave was the look he was going to shoot for. After saving his pennies, he gathered up enough to buy a set of coilovers and some Varrstoen wheels to go along with that. Martinez felt he had to move away from that look as he came across Enkei's and some other ideas for body work. After a total of 5 months of no driving and much hard work in order to finish the body, the perfect fitment was created.
When all is said and done, we can all agree this Z is most definitely unique and is a job well done. We enjoyed shooting this car and hopefully our fans can get to enjoy seeing it in person someday. Martinez quotes, "This feature itself is a mile stone and shows that people do take notice of my car and enjoy viewing it."
Dream Car: My dream car is the skyline R34. I love the overall aggressiveness of the car and rarity of they care makes it my dream car. That car is perfect in its oem state with out needing any mods and that's hard to come by. As much as I love my car, sometimes I have the need for speed, so I will definitely be looking for a new build - most likely an AE86.
Favorite Website for Parts: My350z.com because they will always give you a discount for being a member of the site.
What's playing in your headphones right now?: Hands on the Wheel by School Boy Q.
Future Mods: I've been looking into changing the color of the car and a change of wheels which might come very soon. That's all I can say now, you'll have to stay tuned to see what color and wheels I'm going with...

Luis Vivas from West Boca Raton brings us this '05 Nissan 350z. Since the age of 16, Luis started saving up for his future ride. Two years later, the perfect Z fell right into his hands.
Overcoming obstacles with the help of his family, it was finally possible to start the building process. Luis had to work countless hours and, at times, 2 jobs to save up for all the parts and wheels.
This Z has a look that any car enthusiast would be happy to gaze at. Inspired to make heads turn, Luis chose these stunning Work Rezax's and added his own mods. The amount of hard work invested into a project is always evident in the final product and this Z proves it! Well done, Luis.

Black Beauty

David Gutierrez from Weston, FL never thought he’d own a car like this one. This head turning, street hugging black beauty has come a long way in the hands of David.
David has always had a passion for cars and was quite the artist growing up, drawing Supras and shading in beastly body kits. Since he was 8 years old, David just knew that customizations were his thing. After attending Accord Florida Meet 2011 (AFM 2011) and he quickly joined My8thGen.com. It’s safe to say that David was meant for this black beauty and he has all his hard work to prove it!
Switching from his beastly pencil models, David spent a total of 1 year getting this 2008 Accord LX Honda beauty to ride how he wanted it. Overcoming the common obstacle of how to pay for his mods, David worked full-time (sometimes overtime) while he was a student to make sure he could get the build he wanted. In addition, like any worried Mother, his Mom wanted to make sure he was investing his money wisely and would let him borrow her car if he was having mechanical issues. (we say, “Well done!”)
David started off following the crowd; buying the same old parts and doing the same old mods you see everywhere. Eventually, he got to a point where he knew he had to be different. Switching up his game plan, David has done a number of custom mods.
Exterior:
- V6 front and rear conversion
- OEM V6 fog lights with custom-made amber film
- Mugen grill
- Custom made retrofit by Vinh Ho (My8thgen) Morimoto Mini H1
- Red tinted tail lights
- Roof spoiler
- Trunk lid spoiler
- Front and rear Modulo lip kit
- Weathertech window visors
- Volk GT-V 19x9.5 +30 Front and 19x10.5 +24 Rear, custom painted
- Falken 452 tires
Interior:
- Fahrenheit F81 Accord
- Pioneer Double Din AVH-P4300DVD
- Weathertech Floor Liners
- Amber ambient lights
- Alpine Type-R Components and coaxial
- 2 12" Alpine Type-R Subwoofer with custom-made enclosure
- Full LED conversion
Performance:
- Megan EZ Coilovers
- SPC 3-piece rear arms
- Custom adapted RBC Intake Manifold
- K&N Short Ram Intake
- UR Front Strut Bar
- UR 19mm Sway Bar
- EBC Blackdash rotors
- Akebono Brake pads
- Fully custom dual exhaust with Magnaflow tips and mufflers
Finally arriving at his final milestone, David’s favorite sites to use while completing his mods were ThrowDownPerformance.com and Amazon.com. Of course, he had the support of his girlfriend, who attended every meet with him. In the future, he plans to build a classic muscle car with his girlfriend’s dad – most likely a 66-69 Mustang. (Talk about a beauty!) His thoughts… “A true lover of cars does not stick to only one kind; they are always open to any new thoughts.”
Shout outs: “I would like to thank the whole My8thgen.com community for their help and support. They were my first inspiration and have always been there whenever I have had a problem. Likewise, I would like to thank Luis, who helped me “invest my money wisely” so my Mom wouldn’t worry. Finally, to my friend Boback, who let me order and ship parts to his house, keep my parts, work on my car and wash my car at his house on a weekly basis.”
So Fresh.

StanceMiami is proud to bring you this sleek and simple allurement. Jorge Rodriguez from Kendall, FL spent a year and a half creating this 2010 Honda Civic masterpiece.
His inspiration came from a Cali crew called “Royal Origin” and, at first, Jorge couldn’t resist the urge to throw on some JDM emblems. After that, he was hooked! He spent a lot of time researching parts and deals; trying to avoid the obstacle of money, in his own words, Jorge was “balling on a budget”.
His first investment was a set of Tork Revos. As things progressed, this civic has gone through 4 sets of rims and is finally sitting on 17x9 +25 Hyperblack Rota grids. He also added:
Exterior:
- 8k low beam H.I.D
- NOKYA hyper yellow daytime light/high beams
- Full Hfp lip kit
- Godspeed coilovers
- Reds BEAKS Lower tie bar
- SBC RPF1 17x9 +22
- Motegi burning blue Lug nuts
- Weathertech window visors
Interior:
- J's Racing Type R steering wheel emblem
- Interior multi color LED kit
- REVO Broadway mirror
Engine:
- Mugen oil cap
- Fujita CAI
- Custom 2.5in Cat back with burnt titanium muffler
Wheels:
- 17x9 +25 Hyperblack Rota grids
Just like any car fanatic, Jorge would get a part for his car and say he was done, but then change his mind as he thought of additional mods.
Jorge’s plans for the future are simple. There may be some plans for some interior work and, of course, he does plan on getting a new set of rims.
Shout Outs: The Wifey, for going to all my car related events; my family, and anyone who has contributed to my Honda. Dream Car and Why?: Any Lamborghini, because they are so aggressive and fast you can’t help but like them. What’s playing in your headphones?: Cold by Kanye West

This week’s feature will bring you back to the first time you laid eyes on a mobile masterpiece. Whether you were 5, 16, 30, or 50, this unique set of wheels will definitely bring up some fond memories.
Following in his father's footsteps, Nathaniel Pettigrew, age 2, has a growing excitement for anything on wheels that is sure to bring his father pride as it grows into the same passion that car enthusiasts, like ourselves, have. While most kids find themselves looking to spend time at the candy or toy store, Nathaniel prefers to spend time at the shop with his father, who is a mechanic. Here, Nathan is exposed to the many makes and models of cars that are lowered with performance upgrades that spark that innocent twinkle in his eye.
For his first birthday, Nathaniel received his first power wheel. It was a small, one-seater car, but he loved it and spent every day working on it with his plastic tool set. This was the proud moment when his father realized that Nathaniel shares the same love for cars as he does. Recognizing a great potential in Nathaniel, his father began to teach him basic car care, the various uses of different tools, and has even spent a lot of time flipping through car magazines with him.
Fast forward to his second birthday, Nathaniel's dad already had plans to purchase a bigger and better power wheel and was drawn to the mini Cooper as soon as he saw it. The best part about this Cooper was that it came in pieces, which gave Nathaniel the opportunity to put his first car together. After a few weeks of learning how to maneuver his car better, Nathaniel and his dad started the customization process and Nathaniel was even happier the day his mini was lowered than the day that he actually got it! They also installed a "stick shift" lever to make it easier for him to shift from drive to reverse.
The original plan was to just keep it simple and slam it out, but after attending a few car events/shows and seeing the reaction his Cooper was getting from the crowds, they decided to go all out with it. Ready to get his young hands dirty, Nathaniel and his dad started by stripping the car down to just a bare shell and painting the outside of the car in a moss green with a candy clear. A set of strobe and fog lights were then installed on the car and they customized the wheels. A few more goodies were added, like a lower tie bar and splitter under the front bumper. Nathaniel's mini Cooper has come a long way from when it was originally purchased and he takes pride in his "daily driver". Besides a future plan to change the rim design, Nathaniel and his dad are already on to a bigger and better project.

If you have ever envisioned yourself owning a Lexus, this is a car that will show you how it's done. Kevin Josephs from West Palm Beach brings us this 2011 Lexus IS250 F-Sport. When you see this car you will truly admire the fact that less is more.
Having a passion for cars since he was young, Josephs purchased his first car at 16. This is where the extensive list started.
"My first few cars were civics and then I moved on to BMW, Nissan, Acura and now Lexus. This being my 11th car, I bought the F-sport with the intention to keep it factory, maybe just a mild drop since it already came with some pretty nice oem wheels."
Like anyone else, Josephs began modding and within a year and a half, his IS250 was looking flawless.
"I love my car and wouldn't have it any other way. I like to keep my car clean and simple and don't want to over do it."
Kevin also states that his future plans would include an Invidia mid pipe and eventually upgrade to a Lexus oem bbk.
We are most certainly not complaining with how this car is looking now, yet we'll be anxiously waiting to see the future mods completed. Enjoy this beautiful and classy Lex we had the opportunity to feature!

This week's '07 Scion TC is just oh, so fresh! Simply clean and well built, Gregg Whyte from Sunrise, FL took four years to finally get the look he was going for. "My Scion TC started out pretty basic. I just had lowering springs and some old skill racing Hart wheels. It wasn't until I saw a group of Scions at a local meet before I got the bug for more parts." As many of us can agree, finding someone to do honest work isn't always easy. Whyte quotes, "A major milestone with my car was trying to find a great tuner whom I could trust because I have blown up before on a bad tune. Its hard to find someone that will treat your car as if it's theirs."
Figuring out from where to start first, Whyte says, "My first major upgrade was a turbo kit because the car was pretty slow stock. After that I got new wheels, then lowered it and kept going until I found a look I really loved." Knowing exactly what he wanted, Whyte continued pursuing the build with plenty of inspiration behind it. "The thing about Scion is that it is a a young brand, so a lot of kids will get them and rice them out. I'm more into the simple, OEM look. I have seen a bunch of TC's around the USA and we all kind of swap ideas and help each other out." Being 100% satisfied with the way the car looks today, Whyte has a few future mods, like wrapping the backseats to match the front Bride seats, a bigger turbo with more boost, wider wheels, and a rear lip. Nicely done, Gregg. (:

Not only does this week's car have flawless looks, but also impressive power under the hood to say the least. This car is definitely worth putting time, money, and hard work into, which is exactly what Juan Razuri from Pembroke Pines, FL has done. Razuri's '08 Infiniti G37S took about four months to build.
"I wanted something elegant, classy, and aggressive at the same time. It's a car that would satisfy any car enthusiast because of the way it looks, the way it drives, and the different ideas that can be applied to its model."
With so many options these days, deciding which route to take for customizing your car is always something to think twice about. Nissan's luxury brand does not disappoint when it comes to giving you a perfect canvas to paint. Razuri noted that with the color and body style of this car, he had to be very careful in what parts and modifications to go chose.
"We had many options for the car....It was a whole process when it came to the point of making the final decision."
This feature not only brings you a well-done build, but the presence of professionalism is very present in this car. RodSpeed was a huge part in the making of it, and we really enjoyed featuring this car.We will first show you a photo of the car when it was a blank canvas. We hope you all enjoy it!

This week we bring you a '97 Honda Accord SIR - old school, classy, and definitely JDM. Born and raised in Japan, the SiR wagon model included the only 2.3-liter H23A DOHC VTEC H-series engine in the Honda line-up. The H23A had better acceleration because the peak torque occurred sooner at lower RPM when compared to the H22A. This car hasn't always had the popularity it deserves, but turning heads is a must for this ride.
Ronny Rosario from Miami, FL spent about 7 months building this car including the wait for the rims to get made. His
inspiration for this build was the actual car. "This car is the first out of 2 in total that they have in the states, and by this car being one of a kind, it motivated me to make it look even more spectacular.
I had a couple of obstacles along the way, but nothing we couldn't fix. Only naming one, when we went to New York for Honda Day 2012 and all of the pot holes bent my rear camber a little, I was mad for a little while. But as soon as I got to Miami, I got a new set."
With this accord finally complete and a clear success, Rosario has some other ideas up his sleeve. "A future build I have in mind is a 2005 Honda Odyssey Touring Edition. I'm a family man with 2 daughters; I need more space for the family and I want to make this ride look as good as the wagon. I want to take my daughters to school in style when they grow up." Much respect goes out to this unique accord for keeping its form and function on point.

These days, we've come to expect a lot from Infiniti. At the time of its debut, the G35's refined styling and sporty performance made a loud statement. With such an aggressive look and power to back it up, this car is well-respected no matter where you go. When owner's put time, money, and love into their cars, the results are always evident. That's why this G35 brings you ferocity and stamina with a touch of stance.
Felipe Marques from Weston, FL bought this '05 6 speed G35 coupe back in 2010. Before making the purchase, Marques had overlooked this particular car several times. Fate had its way and, after several attempts of denying this particular G, Felipe became it's new rightful owner. One month later, the modifications had begun.
Getting accustomed to the "low-life", Marques quotes, "First week with my car lowered and fenders rolled, I went to a meet in Miami, and my car got completely stuck in the middle of the road."
Two years later, every obstacle was overcome; this build was finally getting the attention it deserved. With many personal touches and mag Fiji blue wheels that anyone can admire, this unique ride definitely does not disappoint. When mixing class and luxury with the fast-growing art of stance, this G35 is a portrait of perfection.

Honda enthusiasts are a curious bunch. The moment a person embarks on their quest to modify their Honda, they almost instantly become hooked; it's almost like a sickness of some kind. Even though every car enthusiast has their own opinion, everyone can appreciate a clean 8th gen Si.
Four years ago, Jovannie Quiles from West Palm Beach, Florida became the first owner for this '08 Honda Civic Si. Garage kept until 2010 with 17k miles, Quiles tried experimenting with several wheels while choosing springs for suspension.

After a while, I started to see the stance game go crazy, so I decided to go that route with the Si.
"
Quiles took about 3 months to finally get wheels and full suspension on the car, and the stance look he was going for was finally complete.
"
After the build I started to go to several car show events at Palm Beach International Raceway and people showed me a lot of love for my Si, but with that love came plenty of imitators. Now seeing a lot of these cars built the same way, bigger plans are to come in the near future.
"
There's no doubt that most people have their preconceived notions about civics. But despite whatever prejudices you may or may not have, this car has curves anyone can appreciate. I like to think of it as a clever mix of performance and unique styling that stands out anywhere. It's the unique things that people do to their cars that get attention and respect. Well done, Jovannie!

We bring you Mike Tolliver's 2000 Honda Odyssey all the way from Seattle. Let's check out his story...
"So after buying Rotiform's A8L and driving it all winter the gas prices here in Seattle skyrocket to highest in the nation . Around April I started to look for scion xB to drive a bit more that the Audi. I’ve got two little girls I take to and from school each day and this leads to a lot of stop and go traffic. I started a hunt for a 2005 scion xB in white. I wanted a xB simply because I’m an early water-cooled VW guy and I have seven sets of 4x100 wheels that I want to utilize more."
"After a search up and down the west coast I could not find an xB to my liking or price. I was even willing to fly my buddy Paul to LA to drive one back. Well I started to look at other cheap used vans, there were a lot on the market. I noticed the Hondas seems the be the best taken care of, and this is Seattle ,there are hundreds of these body style at the local mall at one time.
"My craigslist ad alert went off the phone, one was just posted 2000 Honda Odyssey 150,000 miles , local and $3000 bucks . I emailed and called like crazy but no answer . A day later after looking at some other vans I got a call. The owner realized he had a hot ticket and upped the price to $3500 since he had 42 email within the first hour. I was one the first. I told him , 3500 cash if he can meet me in the next 20mins . A quick drive and I gave $3500 to Paul and left to get my kids from school. Later that night I drove her home."
"I put on car shows like PNW Springmeet, TheOldSchoolReunion , StanceWars , Tailored Seattle , Crafted Fitment , and many others so I’m looking for rig that take a lot folks , gear and booth stuff the event. This van does that and gets 30mpg."
" Dave Meister , Paul and I were talking . “you should bag it “. Knowing that I had the money and resources I did it. Bagriders helped us source the parts and we created a few one off parts. After the next event we all were talking again during beers and Dave and Paul and we decided to wrap the van, and if I was going that far we might as well source some wheels."
"Few weeks later after another one of our events all the parts were in house. New Telas Gray wrap and a set of vintage wheels. Then Paul’s fun started , one week to wrap and tear the van down before Slammed Society FD. Long days , some long nights and we had the wrap completed for the show. Its not fully done , but its what we had planned. All panels telas gray and pillars are black alligator . Now back to the suspension."
"Paul needed to rebuild the current struts to get the frame to meet the ground as planned. After some new inserts, some welding, and a small trip to the machine shop we had what we needed. A fast install and Paul was off to work while Dave and I cleaned up and fixed some last minute things. If you park on 2x4’s you can lay the frame past the wheels we found. Kind of an old mini-truck thing, but hella cool. It’s a must to air-out otherwise the kids can’t open the van auto sliding doors!"
